Dr. Mailapur has obtained the highest recognition for a specialist in the field of Periodontology by becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a distinction held by less than one third of practicing Periodontists.


Dr. Mailapur regularly attends continuing education courses, to keep up with the latest in dental implantology, bone and soft tissue grafting and facial esthetics. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Illinois Society of Periodontology and ADA. Her personal philosophy for the practice is to provide comprehensive periodontal treatment with the highest quality of service. She believes strongly in patient education and comfort.
